I would truly like to thank you for opening the Sunshine Mission for homeless women. I am truly grateful for such a place. I was a resident of the Sunshine Mission in the year 1991. When my time was up, I moved into the Casa de Rosas Hotel. The Mission showed me a new way of life, and by the grace of God I was able to remember your staff's encouragement.

Well, today I'm no longer homeless and I'm sober. I'm also engaged to be married, and there is no better place I could think of to have a wedding reception. The Sunshine Mission is a very big part of my life that I can never let go. I ask you to please allow me to have my reception there as a tribute to my recovery and to the Sunshine Mission.
